The Philadelphia Union is a professional soccer team based in Chester that competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the Eastern Conference. The Union began play in 2010, with its home matches at Talen Energy Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium, located on the banks of the Delaware River.

Digital Video Producer

This position serves as the primary content creator for the team’s website and social media platforms. He/she ideates and pitches video platforms and content pieces in weekly editorial meetings, and writes, produces, and edits original video content. The person creates and edits a high quantity of short form video pieces, approximately one video per day on average.

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of relevant experience, and experience with a professional sports team is a plus. He/she will have advanced knowledge of non-linear editing, preferably using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.

Manager, Philadelphia Union Foundation and Community Relations

This position creates and drives the overall strategy for the team’s foundation and for the team’s community relations’ efforts. He/she builds an events and content strategy, including web, social media, and mobile, to share community stories featuring players, coaching staff, and the front office. The person serves as the point of contact for all communications before and after foundation events, and markets the events.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, business administration, sports management, or a related field. He/she will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have outstanding time management skills.

Ticket Operations Coordinator

This position assists the director of ticket operations with all day-to-day operations of the box office. He/she serves as the primary internal and external ticketing liaison for all Non-Union events at the stadium and as the primary internal ticketing operations liaison for Bethlehem Steel FC. The person administers various processes within the ticketing system, including account updates, holds, and data cleanup.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree. He/she will have one to two years of increasing experience in ticket operations, preferably using the Paciolan ticketing system. The person will also have one to two years of experience supervising staff.
