Newtown Square’s Sunoco Logistics Partners and Harrisburg’s PennAg Industries Association are partnering to create a biosecurity training module, writes Christine Manganas for the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The module aims to educate and train contractors and employees on the basics of farm safety when working on pipeline construction. It will be available on the PennAg website at the start of next year.

“Sunoco Logistics has operated in Pennsylvania for more than 80 years, and has worked closely with farmers for generations to make sure our workers do not endanger animals and crops,” said Curtis Stambaugh, Sunoco’s assistant general counsel.
