Anyone looking for a sweet treat this fall will not be disappointed at Cookies by Diane, as the Springfield bakery is offering Halloween-inspired, freshly baked gourmet cookies throughout the season, writes Peg DeGrassa for Delaware County News Network.

Decorated in Halloween black and orange, the store at 204 Ballymore Road is enchanting visitors with inviting flavors and hauntingly tempting aromas of its seasonal cookie flavors, such as “Halloween Oreo Chunk,” “Witch’s Brew,” and “Spooky Sugar.”

Cookies by Diane is owned and operated by Diane Marinelli and her daughter Elyse. The pair takes pride in the fact that their made-from-scratch cookies have won countless awards, among them Best of Philly, Best of Delco, and Best of the Main Line. Since opening 16 years ago, the store has produced more than a million homemade cookies.

The store offers 10 signature gourmet cookie varieties throughout the year, but what makes it stand out are its homemade seasonal offerings. The business also produces over 5,000 boxes of cookies each year for pick up or delivery through its website.
