Media’s HeadRoom Promotes Innovation with Small Business Competition
HeadRoom has announced that Comcast Spotlight will be the Presenting Sponsor for the 2nd Annual Innovating Small Business competition.
The competition will create a forum for entrepreneurs, inventors, and small business owners to spotlight how they implemented a process, product, or service that enables them to serve customers in a different way.
The winner of the competition will receive a prize package worth of $9,000, including a one-year residency at HeadRoom, a full-page ad in Main Line Today, and cash prize.
Final presentations will take place and the award distributed on Thursday at 6 PM in the Delaware County Bar Association Hall.
Comcast Spotlight is joined by sponsoring companies PECO, Main Line Today, Brinker Simpson, Media Real Estate, Meridian Bank, and Music Made E Z.
“This competition is part of HeadRoom’s pledge and commitment to create an eco-system that will promote innovation and propel the growth of startups and small businesses,” said Dan Lievens, HeadRoom’s co-founder. “It is an honor to be able to shine a spotlight on the initiatives in our suburban region.”

- J. Patrick Killian, Commerce Director of Delaware County.
