Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack is a racino on the Chester waterfront. The casino consists of 2,900 slot machines, 100,000 square feet of gaming space, and a 14,000-square-foot event center. It offers live table games, slot machines, harness racing, dining, and a variety of entertainment.

Labor Optimization Planner

This position is responsible for optimizing and creating weekly department schedules aligning labor to department volume, and tracking department productivity and making staffing recommendations to departments. He/she observes departments to understand business volumes and staffing needs/opportunities, and assists the Scheduling Manager in all scheduling and administrative responsibilities for the assigned areas. The person approves and corrects time, monitors daily departmental time reports, and adjusts job/department codes as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and must demonstrate a high level of PC skills, including Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Excel. He/she must be able to communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and guests, and must be able to maneuver in and around casino and public areas.

Marketing Operations Representative

This position effectively executes property promotions, events, and entertainment with high-level, customer service expectations. He/she identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service, and delivers assignments/projects on time and completes all aspects before delivering to internal clients. The person communicates programs/services clearly to stakeholders, seeks their support, and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of related work experience. An outgoing and positive personality is needed. He/she must act in a professional and courteous manner at all times. The person must be able to work flexible hours, and be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Senior Accountant

This position performs more complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. He/she assists in daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end general accounting and internal and external reporting on a timely basis, and prepares month-end and miscellaneous journal entries. The person adheres to the requirements of departmental month-end closing schedule, and is responsible for substantiation of assigned general ledger account balances through proper account analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, and have some supervisory skills. Two to four years of accounting experience with knowledge of spreadsheet software is required. He/she should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
