A music video directed and produced by three Interboro High School graduates has earned them a pair of nominations and a trip to the CMT Music Awards on June 8 in Nashville, writes Kevin Tustin for the Daily Times.

Delaware County natives Steve Condon, Danielle Porter-Condon, and Steve Molineux have received nominations in the categories breakthrough video of the year and group/duo video of the year for “Break up With Him,” Old Dominion’s first major single.

The idea for the video came from comedy blockbuster “Back to the Future.” In the video, Old Dominion lead singer, Matthew Ramsey, sings to his love interest while she is stuck dancing with a character based on the movie’s bully Biff, before she drives off with the singer’s character at the end.

It took 18 hours to shoot the video and Condon did the editing in his sister-in-law’s house in Norwood before the trio produced the video through The 10:10 Creative, their production company based in Nashville.

“It’s incredible,” said Steve Condon. “This is the band’s first major video.”
