Delco Lager, No Fluff and to the Point, Now Available in Cans
Aston’s 2SP Brewing Co. unveiled its Delco Lager last year, and since then, it was only available on site and in area bars.
Now, the brewery is set to debut the American amber lager in cans, writes Kenneth Hilario of the Philadelphia Business Journal.
According to Hilario, the canned versions of the made-in-Delco beer will be available at the brewery on Saturday and at select bars and distributors next week.
“This beer is special to us, and we hope that people in the region find it as special as we do,” said Michael Contreras, 2SP’s director of sales and marketing. “In some small way, we hope that this beer is a representation of that Delco attitude: no fluff and to the point.”
According to Hilario, 2SP Brewing was founded by Bob Barrar, the former brewer of Media’s Iron Hill Brewery, and Michael Stiglitz and Ben Muse of the Delaware-based Two Stones Pub.
2SP Brewing last year also opened its own tasting room, which has 20 beers on tap, including its collaborations with California’s Stone Brewing Co., Weyerbacher Brewing Co. in Easton, Pa., and Georgia’s Terrapin Beer Co.
