Chester-based Power Home Remodeling will fund $4 million worth of renovations to American Legion Post #10, located in Fort Washington in Montgomery County, writes Alison Burdo of the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Power will fund and construct a residential property – including four townhomes and four two-bedroom apartments – a fitness center and a computer lab at the veterans facility.

Power, located in Chester, formally announced the project, part of its Power Veterans Initiative, on Memorial Day. Senator Pat Toomey, Undersecretary of the Army Patrick J. Murphy, and others were in attendance.

The home-renovation company’s initiative is focused on helping millennial veterans with employment after their service.

Once complete, the American Legion Post #10 will handle managing the fitness center and computer lab. Power Home Remodeling employees will also offer training on resume writing and job interviews at the future center.
