Delaware County Memorial Hospital, located in Drexel Hill and one of the founding hospitals of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, is a 168-bed, not-for-profit facility that offers a broad range of acute and specialized services. Clinical Director

This position will manage the human and material resources of the Perioperative Departments. He/she will provide quality patient care and an environment conducive to staff growth and satisfaction. The person must have current licensure to practice Professional Nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The shift is from 7 AM-3 PM.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, as well as a Master’s Degree. He/she should have three years of relevant clinical experience, and must have management experience.

Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist

This position is responsible for reviewing medical records to facilitate clinical documentation that accurately reflects the patient’s severity of illness and episode of care. This involves extensive record review, interaction with physicians, and care extenders. Other responsibilities include coding, HIM, nursing, and case management staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and RN Licensure from Pennsylvania. He/she will have a minimum of three years of experience in acute care nursing, preferably recent adult inpatient hospital experience in ICU, CCU, Med/Surg, critical care, or Emergency Department. Previous experience with a clinical documentation improvement program or with coding is highly desirable.
