Two Delco Restaurants Featured in Philly Inquirer Best Burgers List

Charlie’s Hamburgers is one of two Delco spots featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer’s list of the best burgers in Philly.

Two Delaware County burger spots, Charlie’s Hamburgers and Cornerstone Bistro, were recently featured in a list from The Philadelphia Inquirer of the best burgers in Philadelphia, writes Craig LaBan and Kiki Aranita for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Since its opening in 1935, Charlie’s Hamburgers has been a staple of Delaware County culture. Its signature sliders, best enjoyed in pairs and prepared by seasoned cooks, are fresh, flavorful, and wonderfully tasty.

Located at 237 MacDade Blvd. in Folsom, Charlie’s menu features an array of options guaranteed to make your mouth water. Their Bunny burger features onions and yellow mustard while their Peg burger includes a layer of savory bacon.

Their menu’s quality items are all under $6, making it the perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat.

Cornerstone Bistro, located at 1 West Ave in Wayne, is a premium burger spot that serves decadent dishes made with the best ingredients.

Their famous dish, the farmhouse burger, features a patty with a delicious blend of beef that will satisfy your stomach. Atop this burger is a slice of English Barber’s Reserve cheddar, caramelized onions, fresh romaine, and a juicy slice of tomato.

Customers can choose between a side of perfectly salted shoestring fries or the garden salad.
