Widener University is hosting a Widener Day open house Feb. 2 at its Chester campus.

Widener University will host a Widener Day open house Sunday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the university’s campus in Chester. This event is for undergraduate admitted, incoming and prospective students who are looking to learn more about the campus and the Widener experience.

“A college degree is a valuable advantage for a successful career and fulfilling life,” said Courtney Kelly, executive director of undergraduate admissions. “We encourage families to come out, get to know us and learn about all the ways earning a degree can set up their student for a prosperous future.”

Open house participants will have a chance to meet and talk with faculty, staff and current students. There will be information sessions, campus tours, one-on-one meetings and panel discussions on various topics from academics to student housing and more. Attendees will be able to speak with staff for guidance on admissions, financial aid and affordability.

The culinary delights of Widener’s award-winning Chef Matthew Clarke will also be available to visitors with lunch in the Pride Café.

Those interested in attending should visit the Widener Day open house registration page to RSVP.
