Enrollment Services Specialist

This position provides, coordinates, and manages new student recruitment for graduate and certificate programs. He/she is responsible for recruiting qualified graduate students, both domestic and international, who are seeking professional master’s degrees in business, engineering, and technology.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in recruiting, admissions, sales/promotions, marketing, or a related activity is preferred. He/she will be goal-oriented, possess the ability to plan, organize, efficiently manage time, balance multiple responsibilities, adapt to change, and carry out responsibilities with successful results.

Instructional Technology Specialist

This hybrid position develops engaging and immersive learner experiences by leveraging digital technologies and design principles to create media solutions; produce media assets, including graphics, video, and data visualizations; design virtual learning environments; and collaborate with production teams to develop digital materials that align with course objectives. This position will primarily support educational multimedia production and maintenance in the development and delivery of online courses.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and working knowledge of current and evolving web technologies/protocols, accessibility, and standards, as well as best practices related to multimedia development. Experience working in Canvas or a similar content management system is required. Knowledge and related experience with the creation of media for the web, as well as strong graphic design skills, are essential.

Instructional Designer

This position works collaboratively with faculty to design and develop online courses, functions as a lead project manager, and uses a range of technology-enhanced systems to develop content for a variety of delivery modes.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree and at least a year of relevant experience. Demonstrated collaboration and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships. Background in the integration of educational technology is a plus, including knowledge of and experience with immersive experiences.

Event Planner – Conference Planning Services

This position is responsible for operating the conference services business for Penn State Great Valley, which generates revenue by renting space to corporate clients for training purposes. He/she provides oversight of the corporate client experience while renting space; coordinates campus maintenance, janitorial, security, and audiovisual support for campus events; oversees the 25Live event management system and internal requests for campus space and resources; and cultivates new conference services business.

The ideal candidate possess an associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience in event planning, marketing, or a similar field. He/she will have basic knowledge of sales and marketing strategies and techniques, as well as strong skills in managing both individuals and teams and experience in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
