Philadelphia Magazine has named B&E Sportswear of Broomall, Ilene “The Lice Queen” Steinberg of Havertown, and Gen3, with a location in Glenolden, to its list of Best of Philly Helpers and Fixers.

B& E Sportswear was named Best Sports Apparel Company.

This friendly, family-run establishment has been keeping customers happy since 1983 by being able to meet every sports apparel need even “when it’s Friday and you realize your daughter’s robotics team needs high-quality full-zip hoodies with screen printing on the back and embroidery on the front by the following Wednesday,” the magazine wrote.

Ilene “The Lice Queen” Steinberg at 68 West Eagle Road, was named Best Nitpicker.

Steinberg owns the Center for Lice Control and she’ll take care of whatever lice problem you’ve uncovered.

You can book an appointment at her Havertown salon for a quick treatment., call her seven-day-a-week hotline, or pick up her lice-removal products. She also has a YouTube channel.

Gen3, with locations in Glenolden, Grays Ferry and Melrose Park, was named Best Green Home Renovator. Gen3 will do a walk-through of your hoe to determine the best way to green your house. Their invoice will include any rebates and credits you are eligible for.
