Director Tuition Assistance / Associate Director of Admissions

This position oversees all aspects of the school’s tuition assistance program; manages an annual budget in excess of $9,000,000.00; analyzes and calculates tuition assistance grant requests; and serves as primary point of communication with families regarding their grant requests and grant policy.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree and independent school and supervisory experience; three to five years of admission and tuition assistance experience; experience with School and Student Services (SSS) system; and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Teacher – The Haverford Center

This position orients children to classroom rules and routines; drafts and posts daily lesson plans and executes educational curriculum in the classroom; observes, records, and reports significant individual and group behavior to supervisors; and develops trusting relationships with the children.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education; a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with young children; strong communication and teaching skills; and a sense of humor, enthusiasm, and high ethical professional standards.

Upper School Art Teacher – 3D Design & Woodworking

This position teaches four sections of visual arts courses focused on 3D design, sculpture, woodworking, and industrial design; prepares course materials including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts; and assists in the display of student artworks in school exhibition spaces.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in visual arts; working knowledge of contemporary and traditional sculpture, woodworking, and 3D design tools, materials, and methods; and teaching experience with basic drawing, design, and sculpture skills, methods, and concepts.
