According to local realtors, Delaware County is home to four of the 15 hottest towns in Philadelphia’s western suburbs for people looking to relocate, write Lisa Dukart and Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Today.

Thanks to a number of festivals and community events, Media is among the hippest towns in the region. Also, its sense of community and walkability make it attractive to Philadelphians looking to move to the suburbs.

Meanwhile, Havertown’s Chatham Park, Brookline, and Paddock Farms neighborhoods have attracted attention thanks to their good schools, restaurants, and family-friendly activities.

Newtown Square has been given a boost by new construction. The Ellis Preserve continues to expand and offer new amenities. The town offers high-end living options in the Toll Brothers’ Liseter community. Other perks include Okehocking Preserve, Ridley Creek State Park, and Episcopal Academy.

Living in Wayne has always been popular.

“No matter the economy, homes in Wayne are always highly desirable,” said realtor Lee Ann Embrey.
