Catholic Community Choir, a children’s theater organization established in 2007 that serves children in kindergarten through ninth grade in Delaware County and beyond, is presenting Willy Wonka Jr., sponsored by Dave White, from Nov. 8-11 at Cardinal O’Hara High School.

Directed by Jeffrey P. Braconnier, Willy Wonka Jr. is the classic story of Charlie Bucket on his search to find a golden ticket.

Leading the cast of 150 children is Willy Wonka, who challenges Augustus, Veruca, Violet, Mike Teavee, and Charlie to avoid temptation as they travel through his factory. Along with Willy Wonka and the featured characters are an abundance of supporting roles as Oompa Loompas, Candy Man Kids, and featured ensembles, who are sure to get the audience’s toes tapping.

Despite all odds, audiences will find true delight in watching Charlie as he stays positive throughout his adventure with Grandpa Joe and the cast of Willy Wonka Jr.

Performances are tonight at 7 PM, Saturday at 2 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM.

Tickets are $12 each and are available at the door for all performances. The box office opens 45 minutes before showtime.
