Upland Couple Gets Engaged in Front of Special Guest Taylor Swift

Anthony Yannuzzi and Stephanie Pysher recently got engaged at a Taylor Swift concert at Lincoln Financial Field.

Upland couple Anthony Yannuzzi and Stephanie Pysher bonded over their love of Taylor Swift’s music, writes Kathleen Carey for the Delaware County News Network.

It was only natural, then, that they got engaged before a recent Taylor Swift concert at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia … and right in front of Swift.

Yannuzzi, 22, proposed to Pysher, 25, after the two were among 15 people selected from 70,000 concert-goers to meet the star backstage.

In the parking lot before the concert, they were selected for the “Meet and Greet” with Swift. They were escorted inside to a room, where they met Swift and were given one photograph.

As Pysher was talking to Swift, Yannuzzi interrupted, got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked Pysher to marry him. Pysher recalled Swift saying, “Oh my God! Is this for real?”

“It was the greatest feeling but I was so speechless,” said Pysher, adding she had no idea Yannuzzi was going to pop the question.

Swift posted a picture of the moment on her own Instagram account, which soon received more than 1.5 million likes.
