Several Delaware County companies have been recognized as top tech employers in the Philadelphia region, writes Sharon Oliver for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The list recently published by the PBJ includes 62 total companies with 27,065 employees, 11,600 of whom work directly on technology.

Newtown Square’s SAP ranked second with 3,280 employees, 2,135 of whom are tech employees specializing in software development, technology/IT services, and systems integration.

CSS Technical Services from Media is ranked 14th with 126 employees. Out of these, 121 are in tech and specialize in computer consultancy, software development, technology/IT services, systems integration, and web development.

Radnor’s Eigen X is No. 29 with its entire workforce of 46 employees working in tech-related fields. They specialize in computer consultancy, software development, technology/IT services, systems integration, and web development.

PPT Consulting, headquartered in Newtown Square, ranked 33rd with 26 out of its 35 employees working in tech.
