Senior Systems Engineer

This position is responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, and performance of system integration of Wintel-based operating systems, related utilities, and hardware. He/she will research and design technology standards and solutions for VWR’s global environment, while being responsible for the control, integrity, and accessibility of the VWR Active Directory, file and print, Citrix and Client Management environments. The person will be the subject matter expert for Active Directory, Citrix, and Windows across multiple project teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computers science or a related field, and have six to eight years of IT-related work experience. He/she should have three to five years of Windows, Citrix, SAN experience.

Contracts Specialist

This position is responsible for the administration, review, and analysis of contracts by assessing contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with negotiated business terms, regulations, policies, and procedures. He/she provides expertise in the management of contract change control, and develops negotiation strategies on contractual issues. The person will communicate across functions to resolve contract issues and disputes, and will assist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree – a Juris Doctor is strongly preferred – and four to five years of experience as a contract manager or other support position working on contract matters. He/she should have a strong background with contract preparation and/or review.

Director of Human Resources – Manufacturing and Compliance

This position will partner with functional business leaders and associates within VWR to implement key HR processes and programs. This role is responsible for partnering with Executive Leadership to provide strategic HR support in the areas of talent reviews, recruiting strategies, reorganizations, internship program, employee relations, compliance, diversity, performance management, HR analysis, process redesign, strategic succession and people planning, organizational development, and career development.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have eight to ten years of Human Resources experience. He/she must have a proven track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers. The person should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle employee conflicts and differences by interpreting verbal/non-verbal behavior, detecting perceptions and needs of employees, and understanding and valuing employee differences.
